A woman in her 50s is in hospital in stable condition after being struck by a vehicle on Chalmers Avenue Monday night.
Police say the woman was trying to cross the intersection of Chalmers and Watt Street when she was hit by a large truck.
She was rushed to hospital in unstable condition at about 10 p.m., but her condition has since been upgraded.
The woman’s name has not been released.
Officers closed the eastbound lane of Chalmers at Watt Street for about two hours.
Police say more details about the incident will be released today.
