Eleanor Coopsammy

CTV Morning Live anchors

Eleanor Coopsammy joined the CTV News team in 2000 as a reporter and held her position of CONSUMERWATCH reporter from 2004 to 2011. She then became co-host of CTV Morning Live.

In 2003, Eleanor proudly produced the Winnipeg Edition of Good Morning Canada, a national two-hour health, lifestyle and entertainment show that aired for 16 weeks.

Before beginning her career in television, Eleanor worked as a producer for CJOB radio in Winnipeg.

Eleanor has a Bachelor's Degree with a double major in History and English from the University of Winnipeg and a Journalism Diploma from Red River College.

Eleanor thrives on being active in the community, meeting people, and hearing their stories. She particularly enjoys featuring amazing volunteers and organizations in her weekly Community Connection segment for CTV Morning Live.
