Ste. Rose du Lac RCMP are investigating after a single-vehicle rollover left one person dead.

RCMP said they received a report of the collision on PR 481 in Crane River First Nation on June 24, around 12:40 a.m.

Emergency personnel on scene said they located an unresponsive 17-year-old boy in the SUV that was rolled-over in the ditch.

RCMP said the boy was later pronounced dead at the scene.

Police said there were two other passengers, both from Crane River First Nation, who were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The investigation is continuing. RCMP said alcohol and no seatbelt are believed to be factors in the collision.
