A Winnipeg girl who received a new liver in Toronto is waking up in her own bed today.
Eleven-year-old Allexis Siebrecht returned to Winnipeg early Tuesday morning.
She's got big plans for the coming days.
"I'm going to go to the skate park and go skateboarding, feed my fish, play outside with my best friend," she said.
Siebrecht got the all-clear to travel from doctors yesterday and her mom wasted no time making arrangements to bring her home.
Siebrecht will still receive regular care as an out-patient in Winnipeg and be monitored for any changes in her condition.
