Another day of severe weather caused some serious damage in areas across southern Manitoba.

Roseisle, roughly 115 km southwest of Winnipeg, was one of the communities hit the hardest by the storm.

Jeremy Cusyk, a meteorologist from Environment Canada, said the storm hit Roseisle shortly after 2 p.m. on Saturday.

There were reports of tennis-ball-to-baseball-sized hail, with winds reaching 100 km/h.

Residents told CTV the damage was vast. Trees were uprooted and there were areas that experienced power outages. The enormous hail pellets left dents in cars and even smashed some sunroofs.

Environment Canada confirmed Sunday that a tornado did not touch down in the area of Roseisle.
