The Winnipeg Blue Bombers paid tribute to the team’s former vice-president of marketing, Jerry Maslowsky, during the Labour Day Classic game.
Maslowsky died after battling cancer.

The team tweeted Sunday morning, “We are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of beloved former employee, Jerry Maslowsky. Forever a member of the Bomber family.”
The Blue Bombers wore stickers on their helmets during the Labour Day game featuring Maslowsky’s initials “JM.”
Maslowsy most recently served as CEO of the children’s charity, Variety.
