10 players were released by the Winnipeg Blue Bombers Saturday night as the team decided on its 46-man roster ahead of the 2015 Canadian Football League season.

Among those released, running back Carlos Anderson whose preseason was cut short Friday night against Hamilton due to injury.

Anderson grabbed the spotlight in the Bombers’ first preseason game against Toronto with a 93 yard punt return for a touchdown.

Also cut were receiver Ja-Mes Logan, offensive lineman Marc Dile, defensive back Dominique Franks, kicker Anthony Santella, defensive back Shaquille Richardson, receiver Mike Willie, quarterback Jordan Yantz, receiver Jordan Reaves and defensive back Justin Warden.

The team also placed 10 players on its practice roster:

Safety Maurice Leggett, quarterback Josh Portis, defensive lineman Kashawn Fraser, defensive lineman Ivan Brown, and receiver Addison Richards will start the season on the one-game injured list.

Defensive lineman Nate Collins, offensive lineman Pat Neufeld, and defensive back Troy Stoudermire have been placed on the six-game injured list.

The Bombers kick off the 2015 season next Saturday in Regina where they will visit the rival Saskatchewan Roughriders.
