WINNIPEG - Winnipeg quarterback Drew Willy took a day off to rest Tuesday but will be in the lineup this week when the Blue Bombers face the Ottawa Redblacks.

Willy has been taking a pounding of late as the Bombers continue to struggle in the second half of the CFL season.

He leads the league in passing yards but the Winnipeg offence is having trouble turning those yards into points.

Willy says it's a matter of execution and coach Mike O'Shea says they have to pay more attention to the details.

O'Shea adds the team is evolving, getting better and adding what they can to their playbook to be successful.

Winnipeg will take a 6-7 record into Friday's game against Ottawa.
