The Winnipeg Blue Bombers have fired offensive coordinator Marcel Bellefeuille.

Bellefeuille took over in 2013 after Gary Crowton was fired. The Blue bombers managed only five wins this season and 12 in the last two years.

Head coach Mike O'Shea spoke to media Tuesday afternoon about the move.

"I spoke with Marcel this morning and informed him of my decision," head coach Mike O'Shea said in a release. "As I've said before, those conversations are not easy to have but we needed to move in a different direction, and we will immediately begin the search for a new offensive co-ordinator."

O'Shea said the new offensive co-ordinator has to be someone who can initiate change and give the team a great opportunity to win every week.
