Brandon police are warning the public of another scam targeting seniors.
A 90 year old Brandon woman got a call from a man Friday, saying it was her grandson. He claimed to have been in an accident.
Over the course of several days, the woman wired him $16,000.
Brandon police are asking people not to send money based on a phone call, and to check with close family members or friends - before sending anyone money.
