Brian Pallister will officially become the Premier of Manitoba today.

The Progressive Conservative leader will be sworn in during a ceremony at the Canadian Museum for Human Rights.

He will also name his cabinet during the ceremony.

The PC cabinet, which is expected to have 12 members, will also be sworn in during today’s ceremony.

The remaining PC caucus will take the oath on May 11.

Pallister says the new government’s first throne speech will be delivered on May 16.
