There is still no word from the five NDP cabinet ministers who broke ranks with the premier this week. They remained silent the day after Greg Selinger's decision to stay put.

Erin Selby, Andrew Swan, Jennifer Howard, Stan Struthers and Theresa Oswald all previously suggested publicly that it's time for Selinger to step aside.

Selinger rejected their calls, saying their actions are distracting and not helpful.

The five ministers have remained unavailable for comment so far.

But some who still back Selinger spoke Wednesday. Minister Kerri Irvin-Ross says it's business as usual.

Poor poll results from the PST hike and the overwhelming defeat of NDP-backed mayoral candidate Judy Wasylycia-Leis prompted the revolt in Selinger's cabinet.
