Mourners held a candlelight vigil and walk Thursday night to remember a woman found dead on Pritchard Avenue.

Dozens gathered in front of the home where Marilyn Rose Munroe lived. That's where police found the 41-year-old's body on Feb. 22.

They're investigating her death as homicide.

On Thursday, her family asked for the community to unite in support. Organizers asked people to bring drums, candles and smudge and share songs of healing.

The group walked to the Aboriginal Funeral Chapel on Selkirk Avenue for Munroe's wake.
