The Winnipeg Police Service says one man is in custody and facing charges in relation to a November killing.

On Nov. 21, 2014, police went to a suite in the 500 block of Victor Street for a call of an injured woman.

Officers found Beatrice Ann Crane, 44, of Winnipeg, suffering from serious wounds consistent with being stabbed.

Crane was taken to hospital in critical condition where she died.

Members of the homicide unit began investigating and learned Crane had been involved in a domestic dispute before her death.

Ronald Alvin Thomas, 43, was arrested and charged with manslaughter Monday, March 23, 2015.

He remains in custody.
