A City of Winnipeg report is rejecting some of the expansion wishes for dog owners at Little Mountain Park.
Officials say the off-leash area should not extend to the ecological portion of the park.
They also say adding a water source for drinking should not be done until a potential water source is developed in the RM of Rosser.
The report also opposes any changes to the washroom hours in the park.
But city staff did say an expansion of the off-leash area into the park's picnic and open space sites could be considered as part of an off- leash dog park master plan being put together by the city.
