The city is asking residents to share their thoughts about potential locations and features for a downtown dog park.

On Feb. 24, an open house will be held to update residents on the project and results from an online survey that was conducted in January, will be revealed.

From 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the Carol Shields Auditorium on Donald Street, residents will be able to voice their opinions.

The city says a neighbourhood dog park in downtown Winnipeg will build stronger community ties. The park will encourage social meet-ups for dogs and people, also making downtown living for pet owners more accessible.
