A man died in a crash on Highway 3, between Sanford and Oak Bluff, on Wednesday afternoon.

RCMP responded around 2 p.m. on Oct. 22.

A car heading northbound on Highway 3 drifted into the southbound lane and collided with a semi-trailer, said RCMP.

The 26-year-old driver of the car from Winnipeg died at the scene, said police.

The driver of the semi was not injured.

RCMP continue to investigate the crash but said alcohol is not considered a factor.
