A man died at the scene of a crash on Highway 392 at the Snow Creek Bridge on the weekend, said Snow Lake RCMP.

Police responded around 11 a.m. on July 26 to the single-vehicle crash. Snow Lake is about 700 km north of Winnipeg.

The vehicle had been heading southbound on Highway 392 when the single-vehicle crash happened.

Police said the vehicle was found on the east side of the highway, below the bridge.

The exact time of the crash is not yet known.

A 26-year-old man from Flin Flon was pronounced dead at the scene Saturday, while a second man was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

RCMP said an initial investigation showed the driver was wearing a seatbelt, while the passenger who died was not wearing one.

Police said they have not yet determined whether alcohol was a factor in the crash and officers continue to investigate it.
