Tuesday morning, technicians installed the Winnipeg Jets’ logo and lines in the ice at the MTS Centre.

Games are expected to get underway later in January, with a deal slated to be ratified Jan. 10 to end the NHL lockout.

The Jets said that once a game schedule is confirmed by the NHL, the team will contact season ticket holders and will also post information on its website.

It's estimated the four-month lockout has cost the Canadian economy $700 million, with a range of businesses, from retailers to restaurants, feeling its effects.
