An Ontario cyclist is dead after being hit by an SUV on the Trans-Canada Highway near Brandon.
The 24-year-old male from Toronto was riding east Monday, about two kilometers west of Brandon, when the collision occurred around 8:00 p.m.
RCMP said it’s unclear if the cyclist was wearing a helmet.
No one in the SUV was hurt.
The police investigation continues.
