A Dauphin man is facing 25 charges after Manitoba RCMP connect him to several break and enters in the province.

Police said they have linked the 38-year-old to break and enters that occurred on May 2 near Dauphin, May 3 in the area of Ashern and on July 14 near Virden.

Search warrants were executed which resulted in several more stolen firearms and property to be recovered, RCMP said.

The total value of property recovered is around $25,000.

The charges and stolen property seized have solved five break and enter and theft files in Western Manitoba.

Jayson McDougall is charged with trafficking firearms, possessing break-in instruments, unsafe storage of firearms, unauthorized possession of firearms, possession of property obtained by crime and possession of weapons obtained by crime.
