Driver charged for five-vehicle collision on Highway 15

RCMP said the driver of a semi faces a charge following a collision that involved five vehicles on Highway 15, between the Perimeter and Deacon Road, east of Winnipeg.

One person was sent to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries from the crash Tuesday morning.

Police and emergency crews responded around 8 a.m. on Sept. 16.

RCMP said the semi’s driver faces a charge for imprudent driving under the Highway Traffic Act.
