Drugs, body armour seized in Lansdowne Avenue raid

Winnipeg police have laid a slew of charges against a 32-year-old man after discovering cocaine and marijuana in the Jefferson area.
Officers executed a search warrant Friday afternoon at a home in the 200 block of Lansdowne Avenue.
There they uncovered and seized just over an ounce of cocaine, valued at almost $2500 and a small amount of marijuana. Officers also seized cell phones, about $200 cash and ballistic body armour from the home, according to police.
William Keith Pierson is now facing multiple charges including possessing a substance for the purpose of trafficking and failure to comply with an undertaking.
Pierson remains in police custody.
