The lone driver of semi-truck has died from injuries sustained in a crash on Highway 16.

The crash happened just before 5:00 p.m. May 14, 2014.

Shoal Lake RCMP report the lone driver was hauling a crane and travelling eastbound, when 25 kilometres west of Shoal Lake the vehicle went off the highway and tipped on its side.

The 37-year-old man from Edmonton was not wearing a seatbelt, according to RCMP.

An autopsy has been ordered.

A RCMP forensic traffic reconstructionist is assisting with the investigation.
