A late night garage fire forced neighbours to evacuate their homes on Monday night.
Fire crews were called to the 1200 block Alexander Avenue just before 11 p.m.
When crews arrived, fire officials say a detached garage was engulfed in flames. Hydro-poles close by were also on fire.
Garages close by to the scene also started to smoke.
Fire officials say neighbouring homes were evacuated as a precaution.
Crews were able to extinguish the flames.
No injuries have been reported.
The cause of the fire is under investigation, and no damage estimate is available at this time.
