Another high-profile Manitoba New Democrat is backing the leadership bid of Theresa Oswald.

Nancy Allan, a former education minister who was demoted to the back bench last year, says Oswald is the party's best chance at winning the next election.

Allan has been sending out invitations to Oswald's public campaign launch tomorrow afternoon at a community centre in the city's south end.

Oswald, a former health minister, is the first candidate in the leadership race, which will be decided March 8th.
