A former Manitoba cabinet minister who challenged Premier Greg Selinger's leadership isn't ruling out a federal run.

Erin Selby says a number of friends and neighbours have approached her about running in St. Boniface-St. Vital, but she says she has not made a decision yet.

Selby was health minister until last fall, when she and four other senior cabinet members suggested Selinger resign to help stop the N-D-P government's slide in popularity.

The riding is currently held by the Conservatives but incumbent Shelly Glover isn't seeking re-election.
