While there have been no reported cases of illness in Canada, there have been cases in the United States linked to products by the same manufacturer, CRF Frozen Foods.

If you suspect you became sick after eating the product, the Canadian Food Inspection Agency recommends you call your doctor.

The CFIA says food contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes may not look or smell spoiled but can still make you sick. Symptoms can include vomiting, nausea, persistent fever, muscle aches, severe headache and neck stiffness. Pregnant women, the elderly and people with weakened immune systems are particularly at risk.
