Fire officials are investigating after a blaze in the St. James area caused $35,000 in damage.
Firefighters were called to a house in the 200 block of Hampton Street late Wednesday night.
No one was home when a fire started in the garage, spreading to the house. The building sustained $30,000 in damage.
The flames also spread to the neighboring home, causing $5,000 worth of damages to the structure.
There were no injuries.
