Police evacuated a hotel in the 2900 block of Pembina Highway after stolen SUV crashed, causing a gas leak Friday evening.
A receptionist at the Four Points Sheraton Hotel told CTV that a vehicle crashed into a neighbouring strip mall. Police say the crash damaged the gas line of the hotel, forcing police to temporarily evacuate the building.
Three occupants in the vehicle were seen fleeing the area in another vehicle.
No injuries were reported. Damage is estimated at $40,000.
