Starting Friday, Aug. 21, zoo-goers will have the opportunity to see three more bears in the Journey to Churchill exhibit at Assiniboine Park Zoo.

The three bears, Humphrey, Blizzard and Star, moved from the zoo’s International Polar Bear Conservation Centre and can now be seen in the Sea Ice Passage area of the exhibit.

Hudson, Storm, Aurora and Kaska, the zoo’s four other bears, are now located within the Churchill Coast area.

The IPBCC is now closed to the public as there are no longer any polar bears there. The three new cub bears will be kept separate from the other bears until later this fall.
