Controversy over a Halloween costume has prompted a store to pull it from shelves.

The "Pocahottie" costume offended some Manitobans as people found it to be a culturally insensitive portrayal of indigenous women.

Canadian store, Halloween Alley, pulled the costume from all stores Wednesday.

In a statement, the store said it's saddened it unintentionally offended people.

A Spirit Halloween manager in Winnipeg said they haven’t pulled the costume.
