Environment Canada has issued an air quality alert for southern and central Manitoba.
Smoke from forest fires in Northern Saskatchewan and the Northwest Territories has settled into the province, causing hazy conditions.
Limited visibility should be expected today, especially near the Saskatchewan border.
Conditions are expected to improve gradually, beginning Monday evening and into Tuesday, as winds shift the smoke westward.
