Police in Manitoba issued a public advisory about a high-risk sex offender whose most recent sentence runs out on Saturday.

Police said Kenton Richard Bryer, also known as Richard Dale Bryer, just served a 37 day sentence after violating his 10-year long-term supervision order by testing positive for THC.

Once he leaves Stony Mountain Institution, Bryer plans to take up residence in Winnipeg, police said in a news release.

Bryer, 50, has a long history of violence, including convictions for sexual assault with a weapon, assault causing bodily harm, and assault. Although Bryer completed some treatment programming, police still say all females are at risk.

Bryer was designated a long-term sex offender in 2009. He had been serving a seven-year sentence for sexually assaulting two teenage girls with a weapon, when a second sentence of three years was added on for a third sexual assault with a weapon.
