The Assiniboine Park Zoo is holding a birthday party on Friday for one of its’ more famous residents.
Hudson the polar bear is two years old.
A few surprises are planned for his celebration said zoo officials.
On the agenda snow, new toys and bear treats.
Hudson’s current diet consists mainly of mackerel, salmon, honey, peanuts, fruit, veggies and hard boiled eggs.
There is no mention of a birthday cake as part of his party.
Hudson arrived at the zoo in January of this year. He was joined on Wednesday by another bear from Churchill.
