Manitoba Hydro said crews are on their way to Poplar River to repair a damaged hydro pole Sunday afternoon.
Hydro said in a tweet that the pole was damaged by a forest fire in the area, and that crews were being flown in by helicopter.
About 300 customers have been affected, and there is no estimated time of repair yet.
Poplar River is about 345 kilometres north of Winnipeg.
