A protest Thursday brought rush-hour traffic to a standstill at one of Winnipeg's major intersections.
About 60 protestors with the Idle No More movement occupied Portage and Main around 5 p.m. and blocked traffic and bus routes for about 15 minutes.
They made their way there from an earlier demonstration at the human rights museum site.
The rally was in support of shale gas protests in New Brunswick.
