Dozens of inner city kids got celebrity treatment Saturday.

Young members of West Broadway Youth Outreach's Dream Mentoriship Program looked snazzy while walking the red carpet at the Winnipeg Art Gallery.

The kids premiered their short film about setting goals, and some of the young creators have already set their sights
"My goal is to be a doctor, a pediatrician, to work with kids, to save the kids that are having a hard time living," said Fatih Oladeji.

The Dream program gives inner-city kids the opportunity to learn from successful Winnipeggers.

So far, that includes a judge, a rapper, an artist and a marine biologist.

The kids’ documentary played alongside award winning filmmakers from around the world.
