Recycling/Garbage Collection

Recycling, garbage and yard waste will be collected as normally scheduled for those with Monday as a collection day.

Winnipeg Transit

On Monday, Sept. 1, Winnipeg Transit will operate on a Sunday schedule.

Leisure Centres

All Leisure Centres will be closed on Monday, Sept. 1.

Regular hours are in effect for Leisure Centres on Saturday, Aug. 30, and Sunday, Aug. 31 with the exception of St. James Civic Centre pool and fitness facility, which is closed from Saturday, Aug. 30 to Monday, Sept. 1.

Libraries

All Winnipeg Public Libraries will be closed on Monday, Sept. 1.

Animal Services Agency

Hours of operation for the Animal Services Agency during the Labour Day long weekend are as follows:

Friday, Aug. 29	Regular hours - 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Saturday, Aug. 30	Regular hours - Noon to 5:00 p.m.
Sunday, Aug. 31	Regular hours - Noon to 5:00 p.m.
Monday, Sept. 1	Closed
Tuesday, Sept. 2	Regular hours - 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
