Loblaws recalling two products sold in Manitoba stores

Loblaw Companies Ltd. is recalling its Everyday Essentials space heater nationwide.

In Manitoba, it was available at Extra Foods and Real Canadian Superstores from Jan. 1, 2011 until Tuesday of this week.

Health Canada says there have been two complaints of heaters smoldering.

And in another recall from Loblaws, the company is voluntarily recalling its PC Blue Menu brand bran flakes cereal from stores because of possible plastic contamination.

The recall affects boxes with best before dates of August 26, 2015 up to Jan 7, 2016.
