Blue Bombers quarterback Drew Willy appeared to be injured at practice Thursday, but the team's coach said he's fine.

The pivot seemed to hurt his throwing hand as he tried to make a pass and his hand connected with another player’s helmet.

Trainers attended to Willy immediately.

Willy was not made available to speak to media after practice, but Bombers coach Mike O'Shea said he spoke to Willy and he is fine.

The Bombers play in Saskatchewan on Sunday.
