Police have made an arrest in connection with a string of robberies in Winnipeg over the past month.
Officers were investigating seven incidents they said each involved a lone male suspect with a weapon.
The robberies took place between Dec. 24 and Jan. 12 at a restaurant, gas bars and convenience stores on Selkirk Avenue, McPhillips Street, Main Street, Mountain Avenue and Henderson Highway.
Dean Aaron Belanger, 21, was arrested on Saturday, said police. He is facing several charges, including seven counts of robbery with a weapon, breach of probation and uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm.
Police said no one was injured in any of the robberies.
