RCMP have laid multiple charges against a driver for a crash in June that killed a 22-year-old woman and injured four others, including the driver.

On June 24, police and emergency crews were called to a single-vehicle rollover on PR 342, just south of the Cypress River in the RM of Victoria.

Police said an initial investigation showed a vehicle lost control on a gravel road and rolled.

A 22-year-old woman was pronounced dead at the scene.

Four others, including the driver, were taken to hospital for treatment of injuries.

RCMP said Curtis Cabernel, 22, of Cypress River faces multiple charges, including impaired driving causing death and two counts of impaired driving causing bodily harm.
