Police said a suspect is in custody after a 23-year-old man died after an apparent stabbing in a North Kildonan home.
Police said it happened just after 3 a.m. Thursday morning in the 300 block of Springfield Road. Officials found the man suffering from critical injuries consistent with stab wounds.
Paramedics rushed the man to hospital, where he later died.
The results of an autopsy are still pending.
The Homicide Unit has launched an investigation. The male suspect remains is in custody and interviews are ongoing.
