A 33-year-old man is dead after being found down in St. Boniface, late Saturday morning.
Around 10:45 a.m., Winnipeg police attended Tache Avenue and Dollard Boulevard, where fire paramedics turned the man over to them.
Police said the man was taken to the Main Street Project, under the Intoxicated Persons Detention Act of Manitoba.
Later in the day, around 2:15 p.m., staff at the Main Street Project said the man was unresponsive.
Police said he was transported to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The investigation is continuing by Winnipeg police.
