A man is facing over 25 charges in connection with a crime spree involving break-ins at homes and business and theft of cash, vehicles and personal identification.

Police said a man committed a string of robberies and fraud-related offences in Winnipeg between July 26 and Aug. 23.

The spree includes a break-in at a home on Island Shore Boulevard where a vehicle and personal identification were stolen, thieving cash from businesses on Wilton Street and Pembina Highway, and numerous vehicle break-ins.

The Major Crimes Unit began investigating and issued a warrant for a suspect’s arrest.

Police said patrol members saw the suspect riding a bike around Chevrier Boulevard and Pembina Highway on Aug. 29. He was arrested and taken into custody.

Scott James Henry, 29, has been charged with over 25 offences due to his alleged involvement.
