A man is in stable condition after falling 6 floors onto a parkade during a raid by Winnipeg police on an apartment.

According to a release from the Winnipeg Police Service, the tactical support team was executing a drug warrant in the 300-block of Cumberland Avenue.

Police took four males in the apartment into custody and said a fifth male attempted to exit the 9th floor suite through the window.

Police said that’s when he fell six stories and sustained serious injuries when he landed on a third floor parkade.

Police said several guns, ammunition, drugs and cash were seized in the raid.

All five men, who range in age from 18-26, are facing numerous drug and weapons charges.

The suspects all remain in custody.
