A man pulled a dumb move in a smart car when he allegedly got behind the wheel and started driving drunk through a campsite at St. Malo Provincial Park on Sunday.
RCMP were called around 5:30 p.m. Provincial park officers had already detained the 25-year-old Winnipeg man when RCMP officers arrived.
Rob Cyrenne, an RCMP spokesperson, said the man started driving “recklessly through the park, almost hitting people, at times.”
“The driver had been drinking throughout the day, and had gotten into his - not very smart – car,” said Cyrenne.
The driver is facing multiple charges.
