Man turns himself in after McPhillips Avenue bank robbery

A 22-year-old man turned himself into police Thursday, after a bank robbery that happened earlier this year.
Police said a bank in the 2200 block of McPhillips Avenue was robbed on April 20. Around 1 p.m. a man went up to the counter and demanded cash. The clerk handed over the money and the man fled, police said.
Thursday, though, the man turned himself into police.
Gordon Elijah Muller Mackintosh has been charged with robbery with a weapon and disguise with intent. Mackintosh remains in police custody.
