A stretch of a Manitoba highway is closed after police said a semi-truck tipped over while hauling piglets.

RCMP said it happened Thursday morning on Highway 21 in Shoal Lake. According to police, the semi tipped over onto its side after taking a curb too quickly.

Officials said no one was hurt, including the pigs.

The province said the highway is shut down in both directions. No word yet on when it will reopen.
